Weather
We fish 12 months a year. The weather is similar to Denver or nicer. In January and February, it is possible that the river will be too iced-up to fish.
Water Conditions
Flow rates vary all year long from 1000 cfs during spring runoff to a low of 30-40 cfs. As a result of our river improvements completed in 2006, The Perfect Drift has many pocket waters, deep runs, pools, flats, riffles, and shelves. This property holds the largest fish on the North Fork of the South Platte.
The River
Approximately 1.5 miles North Fork of the South Platte River flows through The Perfect Drift all fishable by wading. In addition, the property has a small silt pond and lake that produced a world record cutt-bow several years ago.
Breakfast and Lunch
We can accommodate breakfast, lunch or dinner served stream side or in the clubhouse per your request.
